Looking for Spanish poetry

Does anyone know any good Spanish poems or something? I looked on google, but didn't really find anything in my fairly quick search. I am looking for something so that I can do some more posts like my Cultivo Una Rosa Blanca post. It would be helpful if it was short. Not super short, but not long either. smile

Thanks!

Hola Actorgirl,

When I put this into the translator, it gives me different translations for some of the words. Can you post it in English too please? - actorgirl, Mar 20, 2014
actorgirl.... you look up each work in a Spanish -English dictionary and try to solve it yourself. See where it gets you. - chileno, Mar 21, 2014
word.... and please don;t use a translator to do the job for you, else you are never going to develop well with Spanish. - chileno, Mar 21, 2014

Actorgirl,

Aquí está la traducción de "Las Moscas" al inglés:

La primera versión es de un muy querido amigo mío que me ayudó:

The Flies

Into a honeycomb filled with honey

two thousand flies arrived

overwhelmed by the desire of sweets, they died

their feet stuck tight inside

another one was inside a cake

buried in its sticky sweetness.

In this same way

if we examine human hearts

they perish in the prisons

Of the vices that dominate them.

Aquí está mi versión con la ayuda de mi mismo amigo:

"The Flies"

Into a honeycomb full of delicious honey

two thousand flies arrived

and because of their sweet-tooth they died

with their feet imprisoned in it.

Another one, into a cake

buried in its sweets.

In the same way, if you examine

human hearts

they die in the prisons

of the vices that control them.

Los poemas Luis Cernuda son muy cortas pero conmovedores. Creo que su poema 'Contigo ' es algo especial.
