This is based off of Ian_hill's game that he put up last week I think it was.

Rules:

Find either an English or Spanish word that ends with the suffix -mente (I think that there are more Spanish words than English in this category)

Translate your answers into both Spanish and English

Post as many times as you want!

Here is an example taken from the word of the day which is anteriormente

Veinte años después se comunico conmigo un matón para pedirme perdón por cómo se había comportado anteriormente.

Twenty years later a bully contacted me to ask for forgiveness for how he had behaved previously.

completamente - completely, totally

Sometimes I am totally wrong, even when I think I know what I am talking about.

A veces estoy completamente equivocado, aun cuando estoy seguro que sé de que hablo.

Para mí la canción de Celine Dion es razón suficiente para no querer verla. Además que éste tipo de películas me afecta emocionalmente. Lol - 00e46f15, Mar 17, 2014

Nice sentiment, porcupine. Hint: You don't need "they." It's redundant. - AnnRon, Mar 17, 2014

rudamente > rudely

Demasiada gente rudamente dejan sus teléfonos celulares encendidos durante una película.

Too many people rudely leave their cell phones turned on during a movie.

Contrariamente - Contrarily / on the contrary / au contraire (Edit: added the expression au contraire as a definition because it's the first translation I thought of. It's a phrase common where I am. It is imported from French).

Mente - mind smile
