Question

Do you believe that luck has any significance in our lives? I do. Some people even show respect for luck by calling it “lady luck.” Please share your own thoughts or use someone else’s quote about luck. I will start with the following:

No tengo ninguna fé en el azar o la buena suerte. Desafortunadamente la mala suerte existe, no cabe duda.

I don't have any faith in ' fate' or in ' good luck' , but unfortunately bad luck exists, there can be no for doubt about that .

Call it luck or call it good fortune. I was lucky enough to be born into a family that supported and encouraged me. Many are not so lucky or fortunate.

Depends what you mean by luck. If you mean that good things and bad things happen for no apparent reason other than chance, then yes. If you mean that good things and bad things happen according to some master plan that has some of us selected as winners and some as losers, then no.

Depende de lo que entiendas por suerte. Si se refiere que las cosas buenas y las cosas malas suceden sin ninguna razón aparente que no sea casualidad, entonces sí. Si se refiere que las cosas buenas y las cosas malas suceden de acuerdo con algún plan maestro que tiene algunos de nosotros seleccionados como ganadores y algunos como perdedores, entonces no.
