'Hello' is a word used in English to greet people. It can be used to anyone at any time of day. Hello Chaisey, welcome to the forum. Are you learning English [when one wants to greet someone] or are you learning Spanish - or both? It would help if you completed some of your profile. If you search the site there are flash cards and information on how to greet people in Spanish or English and questions [which have been answered] on this forum.
