Beginner's Quiz - Body parts and saying how you feel.
This week's quiz is for beginners and is actually part of the GCSE, NCEA curriculum so if you'd like to see if you're up there with the highschool students here's a short quiz to test your knowledge of body parts in Spanish along with some common phrases to describe how you're feeling.
You have to login to take the test and if you are a new member and register now, bear in mind that it sometimes takes a little while to receive a confirmation email (due to time zone differences etc). Sorry if there's any inconvenience but I hope the wait will be worth the while as you only need to go through the process once and I do try to make quizes and provide lots of other free learning content on a regular basis.
¡Espero que les sirva!

You're welcome, I see I couldn't even catch you out with my constipado vs estreñido jeje ¡Muy bien hecho!
Hola, Kiwi-Girl,
Thank you so much for offering us such a good quiz. Before I took it, I looked at your flash cards first. I found that the word "ears (inside)" appeared twice. One of them should be "ears (outside)". Besides, the card for "I've got a blocked nose" is "Estoy constipado/a", but the card for "I'm constipated" is blank. I just wonder why "Estoy constipado/a" isn't for "I'm constipated"? One more thing, in the quiz one of the choice items for "I'm hot/I feel hot" is not explained clearly. You just tell us we had better avoid saying it, but in order not to make ourselves embarrassed once we use it by mistake, you still have to tell beginners what it really means.
Best wishes

You're very welcome Joy, thanks for catching the flashcard errors I've corrected them now, although outside ears don't appear in the lesson I've added them just out of interest. Constipado for 'I've got a blocked nose' is correct, that is a bit of a trick one as it is a false friend. Constipated is actually estreñido. With 'estoy caliente' as some of my students are quite young I chose not to put the direct translation explanation into the quiz but if you'd like to look it up 'cachondo' is a synonym.
I hope those points help, well done with the effort you're putting in, kind regards KG

That's one of the first false friends I learned! Well, after "embarazada".
Nice job Ian, with a practically perfect score ![]()

Congratulations to Tosh with a perfect 100%
