Ud. es la abreviatura de Usted. Vd. también es abreviatura y suele usarme más que Ud.

No Annie, Usted es 2ª persona del singular, tratamiento de cortesía de "tú", lo que pasa es que acompaña al verbo en 3ª persona del singular. Lo mismo ocurre en el plural. - tiquismiquis, Feb 28, 2014
