The most interesting food
What is the most interesting food (to you) that you have eaten? If you are from the States or Canada or some other non-Spanish speaking country, maybe it's squid or something. But if you are from a Hispanic country, maybe for you it's pizza!

I finally had some molé .It was good.
Tripe or tripa as they call it here. I had never tasted it until I moved to Mexico. Now I eat it almost every week in tacos. Very tasty.
When I was in Turkey I had half of a roasted lambs head. The eye was tasty but the brain is an acquired taste, ate it anyway.

I think one of the more interesting foods I've tried has been escargot. It's basically nails in special seasoning... :3 It was certainly very interesting...
Have you ever tried "Machito"?

Once I knew what I was eating, I started gagging.
Here is the description of "machito": The ingredients in machito include the internal organs of the kid goat and the goat's intestines used to wrap and tie the resulting mixture. The finished product resembles a large sausage. Machito, which is a traditional Mexican dish, is similar to haggis, a dish of Scottish origins made from calf or sheep liver, heart and lungs boiled in the animal's stomach.
My dad is a cattleman, so he used to bring all the ingredients, so my mother could make "machito".
I prefer regular "cabrito" (Monterrey style).
The most interesting food, or the most disgusting?
I lived in India for an extended period of time, so I've eaten my share of oddness. I'd say the most interesting thing I've ever eaten was an Ultra-Spicy-Indian curry recipe.
Imagine stuffing your face with jalapeños, and then pouring acid in your mouth. That's about what eating that stuff tastes like. It's actually quite tasty!
Para mí, es una soupa Filipina hecho con el carne de perro. Es delicioso!

I like liver pate. Me gusta paté de higado.
Moronga in nicaragua is quite good, it is a type of blood sausage.

Sea turtle eggs are different but tasty. Some are sold on the streets warmed but not cooked and spicy.
Huevos de tortuga de mar son diferentes pero ricos. Algunas se venden en los calles tibios pero no cocinadas y picantes.

Queso de chancho, head cheese. Maybe this is normal for you, but not for me. It looked disgusting and I actually didn't want to eat it, but I was kind of forced to do it. I didn't like it!

I have eaten moose, which is not interesting really to me, but maybe to some of you. And Kim Chi. If you have never eaten that I would highly recommend it.
