Subjunctive examples
In an spanish essay, i am trying to include a subjunctive example. Ideally to do with pocket money/ saving money. I'm trying to write something along the lines of ' It is vital that i save money, then in the future i will have money for university. I'm not even sure if that is subjunctive.
If you can think of another example of subjunctive about pocket money/saving money, this would be helpful. Thanks ![]()

It is vital that I save money, then in the future I will have money for university. Es vital/importante que ahorre dinero, así en el futuro tendré dinero para la universidad.
We use subjunctive in this sentence because the main clause is an impersonal opinión that introduces an aspect of uncertainty or subjectivity and sets up the need for the subjunctive in the subordinate clause. There are several common impersonal expressions that convey this type of impersonal opinión: - Es importante que... It's important that - Es difícil que... It's difficult that - Es aconsejable que... It is advisable that - Es bueno que... It's good that - Es increíble que... It's incredible that... - Es imposible que... It's imposible that...
Each expression follows the pattern impersonal expression que (impersonal expression that). For each of these expressions, que introduces a subordinate clause that contains a verb in the subjunctive.

Another way to do it might be: Debo ahorrar ( hacer ahorrors) para que tenga dinero en el futuro..
I ought to save so that I might have money in the future.
I think this one come under ''consejo' and is followed by ' para que' which, I think results in a subjunctive sub clause.
This is open to advice, please note.
