Hi guys, so in our spanish class, we're going to have a debate and I'm unsure and can't think about points. Our topic is if the United States had lost the war of independence, what impact would it have on our society?

Please try it , you may surprise yourself, Language would be the first point , then would it have made a difference in the second world war , would it have sided with Spain and not Britain , etc, extrapolate from there. Buena suerte amigo. - ray76, Feb 21, 2014

Would Spain still have Florida and France Louisiana? How far would the colonies of pushed west and would a war with Mexico ever taken place? Would a civil war still have taken place between the North and the South. Would slavery have been abolished when it was or would it still exist. Would the language still have evolved or would only British English be spoken in the world? Would baseball, football (NFL) and basketball ever exist.

Have fun.

So much would be different if the US had not won that war. Think about our system of government, our trade and economy, various freedoms, expansion, and on and on! Mucha suerte.
