The most common physical description words are adjectives and you would use the verb ser with those.
soy somos
eres sois
es son
For example: Yo soy alta. I am tall. Tú eres guapo. You are handsome Nosotras somos gordas. We are fat.
Be sure to make you verb agree with the subject and your adjective agree in number and gender.
