Confusingly Worded Phrase

Question

Todas las mujeres sean feas o bonitas a todas les gusta todas necesitan un hombre como yo

The thing that confuses me is that subjective form of "ser". I think I might have an understandable translation, but I'm not sure if it's right:

Be they pretty or ugly, all women like and need a man like me.
