How would you translate "a nice day"?

As in, "tomorrow will be a nice day", or "yesterday was a nice day"?

You cann't say AYER FUE UN BUENA DIA,you have to say AYER FUE UN BUEN DIA OR UN DIA AGRADABLE.

YESTERDAY WAS A NICE DAY...
1.AYER FUE UN BUENA DIA.
2.FUE AYER UN DIA de NIZA
3.AYER ERA Un DÍA AGRADABLE

No problem. Note that when you hear natives say "va a hacer," they often run the words together until it sounds almost like "va ser," but the correct verb is hacer.

yesterday was a nice day ( ayer fue un buen día)

If you mean the weather, it might be "Va a hacer buen tiempo mañana." If you mean "it will be enjoyable," it might be "Mañana va a ser muy divertida."
