Quiero escribir a mi amiga en España que este libro no me parece muy emocionante.
In English we say: This film/series/book doesn't grab me.. It means: la película / la telenovela/ el libro is not exciting enough to hold my attention, I don't really want to finish it.
¿Como se dice en español?

"Este libro no me ha enganchado" (mejor que en presente "Este libro no me engancha").
Lo contrario sería: "Este libro me tiene enganchado".
