Rebaja vs Venta? Which one is which?

I would really appreciate it if somebody could tell me the difference between these two words. I searched and tried finding example sentences but am still confused.

Rebaja: A sale at reduced prices. Bargains.

En venta: to be for sale. A venta can also be a roadside bar, very like an English coaching inn( a type of pub).

Auque he rebajado el precio de mi casa , queda en venta. ( Even though I've reduced the price of my house it is still on the market/for sale)

Tu tienda favorita está de rebajas. - Your favourite shop is having a sale.

But it is a cash sale only.- Pero es sólo una venta en efectivo.

Rebaja: disminución en el precio habitual de un artículo en venta.

Por ejemplo: "Este artículo costaba 100 dólares y ahora cuesta 90; por lo tanto, tiene una rebaja de 10 dólares."
