Bandita is no longer a volunteer moderator!
It's like a weight off my shoulders! I have formally resigned as a volunteer Moderator.
For months I’ve been talking to Annie about resigning. I never would because I didn’t want to leave Annie in the lurch. Recently, Nikkie has had more availability, Martha is just now becoming freer from her Fluencia duties, and of course, bless their hearts, Ian and Ray have joined the Moderator Team.
Now, I can focus on my Spanish learning and maybe immerse myself somehow in conversational Spanish.
I will continue on as a member, though, learning and posting questions and games as this is a joy to me.

Best of luck with your learning bandita. You have a great work ethic, so I'm sure you will just keep rising to the top.
Time is a precious commodity, once used, it can't be taken back and it will run out. Thank you for all the time you've put in here. I appreciate it.
Having once been a moderator/admin for many years on another site, I know how it feels to finally reach that point of being torn between doing your job and not disappointing people -- and thinking of yourself when you're about to hit that burnout stage. I recall the overwhelming feeling of aching to help others and the exact opposite feeling of FREEDOM to just play on the site and not be responsible for a gazillion things. I adored being a moderator, but there can come a time for YOU if real life (lol) demands it.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, support, and Findy especially your understanding. Julian and Annie it has been difficult but we are all still here, learning and that is the real focus. All my best to each of you guys, members and Moderators!

Bandit, even though we have had our occasional differences of opinion, you have always taken care of the really important stuff, for which I am appreciative. I think I can understand the pressure you are leaving behind. Enjoy the joy!

I won't lie, I'm a little bit surprised to know that you are resigning, but I can understand the stress the job must carry. You've been doing this a long time Bandit, and I'm sure plenty of people will be upset that you are resigning.
Any moderators reading this post, you need to know that it will be hard to do the kind of work Bandit does. I wish both you, and Bandit51jd all the luck in the world.
