Game: The Ruby Robbery

Game: The Ruby Robbery

Special thanks to Findy who came up with this idea.

"A famous Jewel Shop was robbed one day, and the crook left with a valuable ruby. Here's what the police know:

  1. The thief was either Male or Female (obviously)

  2. The thief broke through the door with an ax, a crowbar, or a sledgehammer.

  3. The thief escaped on a taxi, a motorcycle, or on foot.

The police need you to try to figure out these variables. Simply post any combination of these possibilities (in Spanish/English), and I will tell you how many you got right. I will not say which one. You may play this game as often as you like, but please give everyone else a chance. You may only post one guess between me saying what's right or not. Multiple guesses will not be accepted. First person to guess everything get's as many votes as people can give (plus 20 points)."

If this game is popular, there will be multiple games like this.

It is a male. He used a sledge hammer, and he left the jewel shop on a motorcycle. :-) - hello232, Feb 6, 2014

Ok, I'll give this a shot:

I believe it was a female. She used a crowbar and escaped in a taxi.

Creo que era una dama. Ella usó una palanca y se escapó en el taxi.

crowbar = lever = palanca?

None correct ;) - 00ffada9, Feb 5, 2014
Thanks! I'll give a few more people a chance to guess before I go again. ;) - Findy, Feb 5, 2014
Not sure whether ishould be 'era' or 'fue'. Of course you shouldn't use 'dama' here (that's like saying 'it was a lady'. 'Hembra' works for 'female' with no connotations. No need for ella. Most sources used both palanca and palanqueta. 'en taxi' seems ok. - Helado_eclectico, Feb 6, 2014

Creo que era una mujer, con un martillo del trineo, quien se fue a pie.
