I really struggle with reading in Spanish. Can anyone give me any helpful tips to help me? Thanks!

Try ' Lola Lago, Detective' it's a graduated series, for learners. Not for beginners. It's good and well written and there are CD's too.

Find the subject and verb of the sentence first. Then find the articles, adjectives and adverbs. What's left should be fairly simple to translate.
It takes longer to read Spanish then it does English, but this method helps me a lot.
