How do you say "pulling out of the driveway"?

Salir de la entrada de coches.

I'm not native, I'm guessing. This will be understood, I'm sure of that, although we park in the street, mostly, over here.

Thanks! I'm sure it would be understood. Entrada de coches is probably closest but it just doesn't have the same feel as driveway to me, because it doesn't have the connotation of something that is part of your home and driveway does. - B-radG, Jan 31, 2014

Usually it is just...Estoy saliendo de la casa. I have never heard anyone refer to the parking space in front of the house by driveway, entrada, or any other word. We...Estacionar el carro en fronte de la casa o en la calle.

I talked to an English-speaking friend once about this word, and he mentioned that it sounds kind of funny to say "driveway" when you keep your car parked there. Sacar el carro del camino de entrada de la casa. It is long, but it does not sound that bad.

Yes you are right , we just say park in the drive , and would not say "pull out " just drive out , but make sure that you " back in and drive out of the drive" or "parking spot" . Thanks mate. - ray76, Jan 31, 2014

Just further to Annie's suggestion you can also just use 'entrada'.

Salío de la entrada. He pulled out of the driveway.
