Spanish being used differently in different countrys~

Question

I am trying to learn as much Spanish as I can but I don't know much about all the Spanish dialects ex:peru Spanish etc. If anyone knows about any of the different dialects of Spanish please comment and let me know how the words and rules are different

The rules are not different, but words and accents are. Think of English spoken in the East Cost of the US, the West Cost, or the South, Jamaica, England, Australia, or Ireland. They are not dialects but regionalisms and modifications. Race and level of education plays a big part also, think English spoken in a black neighborhood against English spoken in a white neighborhood. However, a very neutral Spanish is spoken in Bogota, it helps that Colombia has probably the most diverse population and cultural mix in Latin America blacks, whites, mestizos, and native Americans live in or around Bogota and that has helped shape the language. Countries like Mexico or Argentina are not your best bet since they are too homogenous.

HCA Student: I think you are correct. vosotros is used in parts of Spain. Remember Spain has different regions in which people speak different languages. In parts of Central America, Argentina, and Uruguay, people used vos which is another for of "you." And the vocabulary is very diverse in Central and South America. I native speaker and I am still learning new vocabulary that I might not need in the future, but I feel good to just know it.

Well, I'm pretty sure of this fact:

There is a word in Spanish, Vosotros, that means something like You (plural). If I'm correct, that word is rarely used in Mexican culture and is instead used in Spanish culture.

Again, this is used in Spanish, not Mexican culture.

If this is incorrect, please let me know. I had a teacher who told me this once, so I'm fairly confident. I may have misheard her however.
