which is more commonly used ... I want to say "currently you and your employer pay ... " actualmente usted y su empleador pagan ... or corrientemente usted y su empleador pagan ...

What do you do when you have two words that apparently mean the same thing and want to see which is more commonly used?

Although I am not sure the words are used interchangeable. I'd probably stick with actualmente unless you have specific reason to think that corrientemente should be used. - Helado_eclectico, Jan 30, 2014

I would use actualmente because it refers to something that is happening in the presente, or you are doing something in the present because the law asks you to do it. Whereas, corrientemente sounds more like a routine. something that you do on a daily basis. I would prefer using normalmente or usualmente instead of corrientemente.
