'lost answer'
I answered the question 'what to put in the blank,' yesterday. I remember enquiring if the questionar had written the piece that had a blank, whether he/she had watched a video or listened to an audio and said there appeared to be errors eg levantarse misspelled and the word including cara being one I did not know. I am sure I posted it after HCA's reply to which the questioner had added a comment/possible answer to. My 'profile' shows I answered the question 15 hours ago. If someone has deleted it, would I be told?

I read your answer, and I didn't see any problem with it. It should be back now.
Thank you for reinstating my reply. I had assumed if I answered a question, unless I showed a lack of respect, it would remain there. I remember answering a post where the questioner had made little effort and the whole post was closed - that I understand. However, I am shocked that someone can remove an apparently inconsequential post and not contact me to tell me it has happened and better still why. I noted HCA had told the poster to try an answer and I did not respond until an answer of sorts had gone into the comments. A couple of weeks ago I started a 'game' I am still a newbie in these things and someone - I don't know who, flagged my initial post as unclear and removed 10 points of rep. I was later told by someone I should have put some of the post in Spanish [which I did then do] despite other games I had checked before posting not having any Spanish. I know moderators must be busy and work for the greater good of 'the community' however, I don't know why we cannot be given a warning if something isn't correct. For my part I am happy for that to be on the open forum so we can all learn. My comments do not apply to offensive posts which are rightly removed. This is not an attack against anyone, it is a plea for better communication.
