What does this mean? In the dictionary it says "the back of beyond" but I've never heard that before. Is there a simpler definition?

Send or look something or someone far away

"¿Encontraste su casa? si, esta en el quinto pino"
"¡Me tienes harto! ¡Vete al quinto pino y déjame en paz!
"Le pegue una patada al balón y se fue al quinto pino"

It's a colloquial expression to say that something is very far. "Esto está en el quinto pino".

I think it can mean 'out in the boonies'.

I've never heard that either - lizarey, Jan 27, 2014
'boonies' refers to 'boondocks' which is 'in the sticks' or 'in a rural area' - 0095ca4c, Jan 27, 2014
I've never heard that phrase either. But then again, I only learned 'chip off the old block' yesterday, lol. - Helado_eclectico, Jan 27, 2014
