Under pressure in Spanish?

Question

My Spanish book says: "sufrir muchas presiones". Is this correct or is there a more common way of expressing this?

If it is correct, I have been under a lot of pressure would be:

"He estado sufrir muchas presiones."

If this is not correct would somebody please tell me why.

He estado bajo mucha presión / He sufrido mucha presión ---- the most common way to say this. In this context we don´t usually say presión in plural.

We dont usually say "presiones", if you say "under pressure" you mean "bajo presión" but if you want to say "under a lot of pressure" you need to say "bajo mucha presión"

Estuve bajo presión de mi jefe para hacer el mejor proyecto.

Bajo always means under.
