Pues, si voy a un restaurante, a veces me gusta escoger pescado con papas fritas, pero nunca lo como cuando me quedo en casa, porque no tengo una freidora. Y por supuesto siempre lo tomo con cerveza.
Well, if I go to a restaurant, sometime I like to pick fish and chips, but I never eat it when I stay at home, because I don't have a deep fat fryer. And of course I always have it with beer.
Hoy, comí arroz (como siempre), con carne de buey, judias verdes y lentejas. Me gustó mucho la carne de buey, pero no lo comí mucho (¡no quiero engordar!).
Today, I had rice (as usual), with a dish of beef, green beans and lentils. I really liked the beef, but I didn't eat much of it (don't want to get fat!).
[This isn't exactly what I ate, but you get the idea. Missing green beans, of course. What a pity! That's the best vegetable this season of the year.]
