Question about use of Se

Durante el viaje, "se" realizan una serie de rituales y ceremonias para transformarse en deidades.

i los pensamientos y acciones ceremoniales "se" realizan correctamente

These uses of Se are completely throwing me off. Is it reflexive?

Because realizar is in plural in the first usage and the direct object singular (una serie), this has to be considered impersonal use of se (this would be the same as impersonal using ellos because the verb is third person plural).

The second use of se is passive voice (although some would argue that this too is impersonal se). Either way, the agent is not identified.

Perlas de vidrio "se" aplican uno por uno a la madera máscaras y figurillas

This too is passive voice.

None of these uses of se is reflexive - except for transformarse.
