Congratulations Ian Hill 3 K Badges
This is a happy moment for me , as it must be for all of you to be able to
congratulate one of our more talented and likeable members , and one that
works his socks off on our behalf trying to hedificate learners of English
as well those of us that are still vaingloriously struggling with Spanish .
I know what a proud Englishman he is so will dispense with the obligatory
jumping monkeys and glittering flowers to list some of the magical moments
For England over the past few years . Well done mate and may you keep it up .
Ian you are an equal champion to these guys to us . Bien hecho amigo

3,000 roars of applause for all you do to help SD to be friendly and growing.
You once wrote a note on one of my posts ages ago saying you thought I was a Brit until you heard my vocaroo. I took it as a compliment! ;o) Well done Ian. Many more to come I'm sure! Thanks for the games that stretch us. I've been in the dunce corner a time or 2 trying to figure out how to do them but you prodded me on. Great minds stretch those around them.

Congratulations Sir Ian. We appreciate all you do.
Congratulations, Ian! I have so much fun playing your "Nine Letter Word Challenge" game. As a gift to you I will cast a spell so that no one ever posts another nine letter word without there first being ten answers ;] (okay so this would also be a gift for me, but hey--two birds with one stone!) =]

Congratulations, Ian! I don't think I can possibly top Annie's post. Maybe one for refined English tastes?

¡Bien hecho, Ian, y gracias por sus contribuciones a SD!

Let us pay tribute to one of the truly great SD members, Ian Hill !!
I recommend taking a look at his 3000 badges to appreciate the vast and remarkable
contributions he has selflessly made to this learning community. Always helpful, cheerful
and wise, we have all benefitted greatly from his presence here. Thank You Ian!

Blow me, that's a lot of badges. I am gobsmacked that a bloke can achieve so much. This tribute takes the biscuit and you must be so pleased that everything is hunky dory and you haven't screwed up. Am I taking the p***? Don't be daft of course I am!! Thanks for your help and entertaining posts from one Brit to another.

A brit cartoon for you
Congratulations Ian and thank you for the tremendous contribution you make to SD.
Yay! Go Ian!
))))
Ian, I really appreciate how you don't hesitate from sharing the fruits of 'knoll-edge' whether with newcomers or oldies, Whenever anyone has any 'quarry', you are the first person to pop up with an answer (well, when you are online, anyway).
A big hand for Ian, a mountain of a man!
Also, this is what I think of when I hear England.
