Lápiz is a masculine noun. El lápiz.
Amarillo/a - is talking about the lápiz so they should be the same gender.
Un/una/unas - is an indefinite article is also talking about the lápiz and they should be the same gender, lápiz is in singular so the article should also be singular
Esta - means this
Está - means to be in the present tense for example: She is here. Ella está aqui.
