Summer School in Madrid

Question

This isn't really a question - I'm just excited! I have been taking some Spanish courses this year and as a result have the opportunity to go to Madrid for a summer school over the summer for 4 weeks! We would get 20 hours a week of Spanish tuition and get to stay with a Spanish family. Only 10 people can go, so I really, really hope that I will be one of the lucky ones!

I guess it would be pretty hot in Madrid in julio, but what a wonderful chance to be surrounded by Spanish speakers and a chance to actually use my Spanish!

Congratulations! I hope you enjoy the travel. Madrid is very beautiful. I'm from Segovia, a city next to Madrid, If you can, try to spend a day there. You will like it.

Me alegro mucho de que vengas a Madrid, yo soy de aquí y espero que te guste. Si necesitas cualquier cosa dímelo. en cuanto a la temperatura estará alrededor de unos 30ºC en julio, bastante agradable para pasear. !!Disfrútalo!!

Es el nombre de la calle, aunque también vulgarmente se usa callao para "estar callado" xd Pero en este caso es el nombre de la calle - Neox, Jan 6, 2014

Yes, I've been to Spain quite a few times - that is what prompted me to start learning Spanish. I am from the UK. However, I have never been to Madrid, and I haven't been to Spain since I really have tried to learn more Spanish. - togtog, Jan 6, 2014
