LISTEN AND LEARN (PARTE 3)
Hello SpanishDict. It is important listen to learn? Yes. For this reason I've made a recording (yes, that is my voice jaja) narrating a series of short texts.
The objectives are: 1. Listen and follow the text 2. Find the words that you do not know and find their meaning 3. Listen to the pronunciation of the words and 4. You must Read and hear the text again to understand it.
Finally, if you need to know the meaning of a word, ask about it here. If you have a text that you want to listen to in Spanish, send me a message, and I will narrate the text. Hope you like it.
Hoy traigo un texto corto, y después una serie de preguntas, tu objetivo:
1. Escuchar el Texto.
2. Leerlo, traducirlo e interpretarlo.
3. Contestar a las preguntas (Mediante texto o Voz)

En muchas regiones del planeta conviven personas de varias culturas diferentes. Esta situación supone un gran reto para la sociedad actual.
A lo largo de la historia se ha demostrado que el diálogo entre culturas ha traído numerosos beneficios. Se han intercambiado nuevos estilos de vida, así como ideas y pensamientos que contribuyen al progreso. Por ejemplo, la cultura romana aportó un idioma, un modo de hacer leyes y conocimientos de arquitectura.
Por otra parte, la convivencia entre culturas puede tener algunas dificultades. Hay personas que ven en esta situación una amenaza, ya que tienen miedo de que sus costumbres se pierdan o, si son una minoría, que no se respeten. Existen ejemplos muy tristes de este conflicto como la falta de comprensión, la discriminación o la inadaptación.
Por estos motivos, es necesario partir del respeto mutuo. También es importante promover el diálogo entre personas de diferentes culturas, basado en los valores positivos que cada una de ellas puede aportar.

6. ¿Piensas que algunos países han mejorado positivamente a nivel deportivo, por el intercambio cultural?
7. ¿Te gustaría tener amigos de distinta nacionalidad? ¿qué podrían aportarte?
8. ¿Qué titulo le pondrías a la lectura?

This is a very good way to improve your comprehension of what's being said, which can be the most difficult part of learning Spanish.
I suggest listening while reading the text, and then testing yourself by listening without the text.
Being able to actually ask the person in the recording about what they're saying makes this a better learning tool than most you will ever find.
