I think my first attempt was better than this one, after a while your tongue gets too slippery to say the "tr" and "gr"s properly. =]

err...this is going to sound weird but these tongue twisters have been driving me nuts. How old are they? Does anyone know anything about their origins, what time period, etc?

I'm also wondering about the meanings behind them. There was another one that said "the sky is full of bricks" and I spent AGES trying to figure out what that meant. if anyone has more info please send me a message, reply here, something! thanks.

In themselves they are usually meaningless , just a mixture of words which said quickly are hard to pronounce correctly , some are also " risqué when said fast . - ray76, Jan 5, 2014
