Are Zombies Everywhere?

Do Mexican or Spanish people have myths about zombies like we do? This question popped into my head when I saw the Spanish speaking people get attacked in World War Z.
Are there any creatures similar to zombies? Vampires?

Bueno los Zombies y Vampiros eran ya leyendas en la Europa de la edad media, aquí tenemos muchas leyendas en España, hombres lobo, vampiros, fantasmas, brujas...
Incluso puedes leer "El monte de las animas" una leyenda de Gustavo Adolfo Becquer que ya habla de esto sobre el 1850

Spanish speakers, some of them anyway, have el cucuy (boogey man) who I think is also known by other names. There's also the famous chupacabra.
That's all I know about.
