For Jan. 4, 2014: Pacofinkler was unable to attend the lesson due to work issues, but he really thinks this can be fun and wants to participate. At least two Spanish natives contacted me about helping. We will try this again!

A few years ago, Pacofinkler and his wife, Ana, prepared several dialogues with 2 and 3 parts. They wanted them to be used for natural, conversational Spanish.

Paco and I will be leading this formal lesson. For now the time and location will be on Skype, Saturday Jan. 4. The time will be 1:45PM (CST). Let me know if this time isn’t covered in your time zone and I will add it.

11:45PM (PST - Pacific Standard Time)
12:45PM (MST - Mountain Standard Time)
1:45PM (CST - Central Standard Time)
2:45PM (EST - Eastern Standard Time)
7:45PM (GMT - Greenwich Mean Time)
8:45PM (CET - Central European Time)
5:45AM (UTC - Coordinated Universal Time)

To prepare for the lesson you must use this dialogue.

Please be sure and send me your Skype ID in a personal message. Mine is bandit51jd, the same as my username on Spanishdict.com

Indicate here that you would like to participate and in which language. Yes, you may prepare for both languages. You are encouraged to touch base with another member and be a team. If you don’t have a teammate, indicate your wishes here. Maybe another member is looking for a teammate, too.

Feel free to use this link too! It will help you get used to the microphone and hearing your own voice.

Do you need a camera to be on skype? - Maria-Russell, Jan 1, 2014
@ Maria, even if you have a camera it is of no use unless they all pay for a group chat, as soon as more than one person is on skype the vision drops out , when we did this years ago group charlas were free , but alas and alack no more. - ray76, Jan 1, 2014
Hi bandit, are you going to limit the number of members on line at one time ? - ray76, Jan 1, 2014
Maria, no you don't need a camera but you do need a headset with microphone. Otherwise the background noise comes through. I hope you can attend! - bandit51jd, Jan 2, 2014
Ray, as I recall if the group is too large the Skype call reception is reduced. Do you remember about how many can participate without hindrance? - bandit51jd, Jan 2, 2014

Hello! I'd like to try your service to compare it to my previous experience. I did 10 lessons by Skype with a native speaker from http://preply.com/en/spanish-by-skype And I was pretty satisfied with the quality. But I want to try another option. - DiaaAttia, Jan 11, 2015
