Sylyon1976 is the official corrector for the Spanish sentences. Please correct your posts according to her suggestions. Guidelines:

Write sentences at least 5 words long, but don't write a paragraph either. Write your Spanish sentence, but include the English translation as well. Make the corrections suggested by other users and moderators in the comments section (try not to use personal pronouns unless absolutely necessary). Use your own words!

How to post a picture

Examples:

1. Fuimos a ver el nuevo show de Broadway, y con los bailes y la música, fue verdaderamente impresionante.

We went to go see the new Broadway show and, with the dancing and the music, it was truly impressive.

2. Mi tía pidió que, en vez de hacerle regalos de cumpleaños este año, hiciéramos una donación a una organización que verdaderamente necesita el dinero.

My aunt asked us, rather than get her presents for her birthday this year, to make a donation to an organization that really needs the money.
