Grammar behind Pasarlo?
Hola todo el mundo!
I have a quick question about the verb pasarlo. how do we use it in a sentence?
Can you give me a couple sample sentences?
If I want to say "pass time with friends, " I can just say yo paso tiempo con los amigos." What does lo mean? I know it means "it" and is a possessive pronoun right? Please help! Gracias por tu ayuda!

Hi, guys. I'm from Argentina. I hope you find my help useful
"Pasarlo bien" is the non conjugated form. "Pasalo bien" is conjugated and we use this expression to wish somebody to have a good time
"Lo" is not a possessive pronoun but an object pronoun. Anyway, I think you want to know what "lo" means in this context and it means "time". It may sound weird but it would be something like "Pasa ese tiempo bien"= "Pasa(lo) bien"
On the other hand, it would be ok to say "Me gusta pasarLO bien" as "lo" means "time" and the noun "time is masculine, but here we definitely donot say it like that and it would sound kind of spanglish. We do say "Me gusta pasarLA bien" using femenine gender. And that's a question I cannot answer. Because "la" cannot mean "time". I will try to find it out
I hope you can understand my English
There are a ton of uses.
First, pasar is used in a lot of ways, besides just passing time
Second, the "lo" can be it, him, or some abstract thing.
So the combinations are staggering.
One common sense is as in: Pasarlo bien. To have a good time.
Or telling someone to have a good time. Pasalo bien.
On that latter, though said here a lot, it might be more spanglish than Spanish. I don't know.
I've also seen it used as "to overlook" something.
Also, passing through about anything, be it walking through the park, putting a camel through a needle, or inserting a catheter for heart surgery.
