Can we use ¨un sencillo¨ as a single (as in a music single, vs a whole disc or album) ?
I´ve seen what I think is that a couple times lately.
One I´ll quote below.
La banda acaba de lanzar su primer sencillo.
Does that sound right.

I don't know if this is regional, but in Argentina we call it a "simple".

Un sencillo en CD es un sencillo musical en la forma de un disco compacto de tamaño estándar. ( It means single, I can't be bothered to copy all of it)
