Ah yes, grammar geeks in action
this site truely rocks
thank you for the help! gee never knew one could expand the grammar of two simple sentences to such an extend. its gonna take a little while for me to digest this chunk of information
thanks again and to everyone else!
The first one:"vamos de compras porque queremos comprar una television" have sense if you are replying a question that somebody made you.
the word: porque: in this case is a conjuntion to explain a cause or finality( es una conjuncion que explica causa o fibalidad). For example: Why did he do it? ( ¿Por qué (el) lo hizo? He did it, because he want to. ( Lo hizo porque quiso ). This : porque ( in english because ) is giving an explanation for an answer. Why are you going to shopping? We are going to shopping because we want to buy a TV. It is just an explanation, defenitily it is not a sentences that you say without any question, because in this last case it would be what we call " una redundancia", it is better to say: "vamos a salir a comprar una television" ( we are going out to buy a TV).
The second one: it is a sentence in Tiempo Presente, Modo Indicativo. ( Nosotros queremos, nossotros aprendemos ) It is an afirmative sentence of universal caracter ( Una afirmacion de caracter universal) you can use it without any question because it is like a proverb or idioms it comes from personal experience or meditation, something like philosophy, nobody ask you but you give an explanetion to your own personal questions or meditation. Really it is a very good sentence, I like it, I would say : Aprendemos idiomas porque queremos comunicarnos, conocer, entender y aprender a otras personas, costumbres y puntos de vista. ( I know it is too long).
I hope have help you, I know my english is not good enough but I am learning too.

And paises should technically be países.
Except it should be 'aprendemos' as opposed to 'apredemos' , and maybe it should be 'aprendemos los idiomas' '
