Does this make sense? I'm studying for a test, and I'm trying to define "indígenas" here:
«Indígenas incluyen gentes variosos quienes tienen raízes en gentes americanas antés del encuentro entre del mundo viejo y el mundo nuevo.»

I prefer this:
los Indigenas incluyen varias tribus que tienen raíces en pueblos prehispánicos.
