Beautiful, lovely etc

There are several words for beautiful or lovely: hermoso, bello, lindo, precioso, bonito.. Can someone explain about the differences in their uses, if any?

Jenny, my explanation is not an "official" one. Only what you use in everyday life situations. In my experience, we use "lindo" for "cute. "Bonito" is pretty. Now, when you use "hermoso", "bello", and "precioso", it is more than pretty or cute. It is more like precious, gorgeous, and/or beautiful.
