¿recomendación de libro o cuento para principiante?

¡Hola!

Estoy estudiando Español en Español II (es muy básico). Aprendé los presente y pretérito regluares y irregulares. Entendo el futuro un poco. Voy a leer la literatura o el cuento durante siete semanas. Voy a estudiar más gramáticas, también. ¿Alguna recomendación? (Tengo una profesora de Español, pero quiere que yo busco el cuento.)

Pick up something as you would in English. No less, no more.

The challenge is to equate what you already know in your native language. You see, you don't have to learn anything new, but to translate what you know in your native language to the new language.

Now, if you do exactly that, translate from your language to Spanish, it won't work, because you will not know if the resultant translation is correct, because that is what you are trying to learn. Right?

Now, if you translate from Spanish to English, then you will be able to understand more or less what's being said in Spanish, and how to properly write in English.

Right?
