In it's simplest form the subjunctive indicates that an action is unknown, uncertain, doubtful.

Here is a list of common expressions that may indicate that the action that follows has not yet been completed. These expressions will always invoke the subjunctive:
a menos que - unless
antes (de) que - before
con tal (de) que - provided that
en caso de que - in case
para que - so that
sin que - without

Mañana mis hermanos y yo vamos al concierto de Café Tacvba a menos que (1. llover) llorase demasiado.

Tomorrow my brothers and I go to the Café Tacuba concert unless it rains too.

Because Spanishdict.com doesn't give out homework answers, what do you think the correct conjugation of "llover" would be?

Is that hypothetical or actual. If the latter, awesome. I've seen them twice this year already. Very cool. Love the new album. In fact, I'm going to go put it on while I study. - rogspax, Dec 10, 2013

Realistically, if you've spent 2-4 years and have No idea in general, then there's not a lot we can do fast (as you'd likely want for an end of semester exam), but, if you have specific ones, and show us your attempts, we'll be glad to help.

I'm personally studying for my own Spanish 4 exam tonight, but will help with any specific one if possibly can (I don't know it all though, my last test on this was by far the worst and I got a 96 -- so I have some reviewing to do too -- all by Wed -- ugh!!!)
