Father... If you wear his shoe, you stumble with it's bigness and your foot smallness. if you wear his glasses, you get a feeling of greatness, if you wear his coat, you get a feeling of dignity . you often ask him his car's key dreaming that you are him driving it . if you want some silly thing, you phone him at his working hours and he responds openheartedly and you do not know that his boss maybe rebuked him the same day you phoned, or his work fellow annoyed him, or the daily spending for family worn him out, yet he answers your call openheartedly...you ask him calmly: "Father bring me juice when you come" and he replies: "Sure I will my sweet little angel, just take care of your mom and obey her" he comes home exhausted from working and hot weather and people and street heavy traffic and forgets what you asked for and you ask him: "Father where is the juice?" and he smiles and go to bring you your silly thing with happiness forgetting his exhaustion ... and today... you do not wear his shoes because his taste is old fashioned you disdain his clothes and things and his car which you were proud of in front of your friends . his words fit you no more and you feel disgust at his body movements and they embarrass you in front of your friends . you stay out home for a late hour and he worries about you and phones you and you feel he annoyed you and will not respond to phone he repeats the worry and the phone calling you return home late and he scolds you to make you feel responsibility and you get angry and he goes on with his route of bringing you up, for the father is a shepherd and every shepherd is responsible for his flock . you raise your voice over his' and annoy him with your words and replies and he gets silent not because he fears you but it is out of his love and forgiveness with you and his ability to understand you . in his younger days he lifted you up his shoulders and today you are much taller than him and you do not touch his hand . yesterday you lisped and fumbled for words today no one silences you . whatever he annoyed you with, have you forgotten that he is your father? as he bore you in your childhood and bore your silliness and ignorance bear him in his sickness and old age, do him good for sons other than you wish they see their father again... they asked me which man I like I said: "the one who waited me nine months and received me with joy and brought me up on his account and his health's account and stayed the nights awake thinking and planning until I became man... he who will stay the greatest love in my heart forever. sorry all men but no one is like the father" heaven, whose father has passed away be merciful and kind with and make fathers who are alive live long and relieve them and save them from all worry and sickness and keep them happy always...

Wow... just... Wow. This is incredibly poetic, and probably illustrates exactly what's wrong with the world today. If children won't respect their fathers, then their fathers won't respect them. If I had the Reputation to vote for this, I would do it a hundred times over. misterlonely--winterdays, you gave me something to think about.
