Spanish Interview

For my Spanish class I have to interview a native Spanish speaker. I am going to do it tomorrow, but is there anything I should know, or any tips that anyone can give me?

Ask them to speak slowly and not to use slang.

Do not get flustered if you do not understand. Ask them to repeat themselves.

Think about the possible answers to your questions in advance so you will have a better chance to recognize the words that are said to you.

Do not worry and don't get embarrassed.

Buena suerte.

Well, I'm assuming that the person you are talking about interviewing is a stranger. Otherwise, you wouldn't be worried about messing up. But how are you going to pick someone to interview? Are you just going to find someone at random and interview them? Cause that might end disastrously. Try to find someone who speaks English as well as Spanish, and ask him/her to speak for your level of knowledge (basic, moderate, intermediate etc.). Remember: the person you're interviewing will very likely be happy to assist a girl trying to learn his/her language. So like gringojrf said, don't get flustered.

¡Buena suerte!
