Hay muchas personas sin trabajo en España ,
tal vez la palabra se perdió en las brumas del tiempo.
There are many people without work in Spain ,
maybe the word has been lost in the mist of time.

There are several words that can be used for a worker in general and many more that are specific to the type of work.
empleado, trabajador, obrero, These are the most common for a general term.
