Picture Sequences/Story Telling

Hello, For class I have an oral exam where we are given picture sequences and we have to tell a story based off the pictures. The pictures are of families doing every day activities like reading and eating. I know how to describe what they are doing for the body of the story, but I don't know how to start the story. It is not a fairy tale so I can't use the classic "Habia una vez". Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
