Give Thanks

Question

As we prepare to celebrate with friends and family this Thanksgiving, l would like to give everyone the opportunity to share what they are thankful for this holiday season.
I am extremely thankful for all of you here at SD.

Mientras nos preparamos para celebrar con amigos y familiares esta acción de Gracias, me gustaría dar a todos la oportunidad de compartir lo que están agradecidos por esta temporada de fiestas. Estoy agradecido de todos usedes en SD.

I’m thankful for the free gift of salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus.

I’m thankful for the Bible, God’s perfect Word.

I'm thankful for God's promises.

I’m thankful for my family: my husband , who God put in my life to change it forever; my son and daughter, who are a blessing and a continuing reminder of God's love.

For my loving parents, and my brother and sister; whom I miss and love with all of my heart.

I am thankful for my sisters and brothers-in-law who are always loving and supporting. I am thankful for the best mother-in-law I could ever have.

I am thankful for God's provision. I am thankful for our business and customers.

I am thankful for our church.

I am thankful for friends with whom we laugh and cry.

I am thankful for being able to help here on SD, and for all the people that I have met.

I have so much to be thankful for!

I am counting my blessings and even being thankful for the trials and struggles of life which help us grow closer to God.

I am thankful for my wonderful family and friends, and that we in the United States have the freedom to worship God without getting in trouble. I am also thankful that I can live in the country, and that I am able to do college classes right now while I am in highschool, that count for hs and college, and I really appreciate everyone here at SD helping me struggle my way through my Spanish class. You all have answered so many questions. Thank you! I could go on and on, but I will stop there. There is a verse in the Bible that is so fitting for this season. It says, " In everything, give thanks. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." - I Thessalonians 5:18 If anyone could translate that into Spanish for me, I would be delighted.

I'm thankful for my life. It gets better by the day. I love sharing events like Thanksgiving with my family and friends and I hope everyone enjoys much happiness with your loved ones.

Estoy agredecido de que tengo la oportunidad pasar el día con mi familia, mi novia, y su madre. Tipicamente paso el día a trabajo. Este año la madre de mi novia va a conocer a mi familia por la primera vez. Va a ser interesante.

I'm grateful that I have the opportunity to spend the day with my family, my girlfriend, and her mother. Typically I spend the day at work. This year my girlfriend's mother is going to meet my family for the first time. It's going to be interesting.

También estoy agradecido de este foro y toda la gente que me ha ayudado mejorar mi español este año.

I'm also grateful for this forum and all the people that have helped me improve my Spanish this year.

That is a very wonderful and worthy thing to do PPam .

Although we here in the land of OZ do not have a special day of thanksgiving ,

I always think that it behoves us all to take a moment each day to give thanks,

for all that we have , and to pray that all others are as fortunate as we are .

More especially here on SD we are all fortunate to have come together to

learn a beautiful language , and in so doing have learned to work together

in harmony , friendship and a spirit of lovingkindness. Thank you all for sharing

your time , your knowledge and your love with me .
