I have long been a fan of yours and envied your lifestyle in Baja California it
has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth , you must have great Karma
to have such a life . But I do realise that you must have worked hard to get there,
as indeed you have worked exceedingly hard to achieve 50 K not an easy task
with a busy life to also lead . I must thank you for all of your efforts to the members
in correcting our Spanish in such a professional manner , even though you are
not a native speaker your talents are extraordinary , I love your quiet thoughtful
manner and willingness to help out whenever you can . You are a "legend "mate

Gringo, you are one of my favourite people on SD. I'm jealous of your language abilities as well as your beautiful boating life. You must be in heaven. I just want to say thank you for all the things I've learned from you. If I keep adding up the 'little bits' perhaps one day I'll have a pound or two of Spanish/Mexican knowledge.

Thank you all for taking the time to post these wonderful responses. It means even more to me because most of you have been around for as long or longer than me and there are a few new comers as well. Many of you take a far more active role in SD that I do. I sometimes think that I am just "along for \the ride". I take from the site but don't invest time in creating some of the fantastic threads that I enjoy answering every day. So in essence I take the lazy way and let you all do the hard work. I thank you all for doing the heavy lifting.
