I know we learn "acostarse" to mean "to lie down" or "to go to bed", but I honestly hear this much more often:
Me voy a la cama.
Voy a acostarme, voy a dormirme, me voy a la cama.
Take your pick, they're all valid options.
Voy a la cama. Me voy is pronomial meaning to leave without a given destination. But as Tosh says many people say: Me voy a la cama.
I know the question was I go (I'm going) to bed, but I have heard 'voy a dormir' used often.
Acostarse - a reflexive verb for get yourself (you go- command)to bed, I suppose you could also say ¡vete a la cama! but I think you need to hear it from a native.
Me acuesto, acostarse means to go to bed,lie down.Using the reflexive verb the subject and the object are the same.It literally means "me i put myself to bed".
acuestate a la cama!
y
duermate!!!!
tambien puedes decir primero,
subele a la cama!!!!
Oh crap, I didn't even notice the "I", no wonder everyone's answer is different. Maybe if you had capitalized as you are supposed to it would have helped. I thought you were looking for the command to tell your kids to go to bed, jejejeje.
