How can I type accent marks, inverted punctuation marks, the tilde over the n, etc, when making up flashcards?

you can also hold down the alt key and put in these codes:

alt130 =é,

alt160=á,

alt161=í,

alt162=ó,

alt163=ú,

alt164=ñ,

alt165=Ñ,

alt168=¿,

alt173=¡,

alt0193=Á,

alt0201=É,

alt0205=Í

Try setting your keyboard to the International setting, and then for the accent marks, á is the single quotation and then a. The ñ is Shift + ~ .
