Short track speed skating terminology
Hey guys! I've posted here some time ago and was happy to find quick response to my questions. Now it looks like I'm gonna need your help once again. This school year I have agreed with my Spanish teacher to present her with essays on different topics.. just further practice. It's my third year studying Spanish, but we haven't written essays yet and it's a big challenge. The first one is ready but the topic which came to my mind for the next is giving me a hard time. OK, here we go - one of my hobbies is short track speed skating and I have some really nice ideas about putting it into writing. The thing is, I'm not quite acquainted with the terminology in Spanish (to be honest, I don't know most of it in English either). As I don't really know what words I should be looking for, I turn to you for help! If you could give me some useful terminology, I'd be very grateful. Also, I'd like to learn some words connected to ice skating in general. I know the words for skates, skating, and ice (tough start, huh). And last but not least, I need some good adjectives that go with ice. Thank you very much!!

It's a sport. The word itself exists in Spanish, but it can also be called patinaje de velocidad sobre pista corta.
Make you essays easier to read by dividing ideas into parragraphs.
Avoid using fillers to increase the number of words.
Words for use with your ice-skating essay can most likely be found in any good translator.
For advice on "short track" terminology, you will have to explain what this means.
