Tricks for remembering Saber and Conocer
Does anyone have any tricks for how to remember the difference between the Spanish verbs saber and conocer? I have the meaning down, so maybe my problem is not being able to understand enough Spanish words to know which context is being used.

Saber & facts go together... that kind of 'knowing' -> knowledge. Knowledge is power and gets right to the point - and a saber has a point and also gives power to those who hold it.
Conocer = for being familiar with people or places.
Co Knows Her -> co noc er
There are many threads on this answer forum that deal with the saber & conocer question. You may want to type in 'saber & conocer' in the search box under 'ask a question' and look through old threads. I did and found this nice link you can click:
saber y conocer
